YOUNG PARKINSON’S PATIENT GIVES BACK

One of my patients is publishing a book describing her experience with her young onset Parkinson’s disease as well as her battle with colon cancer. This was picked up by KABC Channel 7, Los Angeles and I was asked to join in. It was my pleasure to have been interviewed by Denise Dador to explain what surgery I performed on Allison Conway, my patient, and how it has positively impacted her life. What is most impressive about Allison is how she has given back to the Parkinson’s community. She runs fitness classes, outreach programs and counseling free of charge for patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
